He graduated from the Military Medical School in 1912 and specialized in tuberculosis and radiology. He served as a military doctor on the fronts until 1922. He participated in the Balkan Wars, World War I, and the National Struggle. Between 1914 and 1918, he served on the \u00c7anakkale, Dobruja, and Romania fronts. He then moved to Anatolia and worked in the Health Department of the Ministry of National Defense and on the Eski\u015fehir Front.<\/p><p>In 1930, he retired early due to disability and bid farewell to his military medical career. He then began working in civilian hospitals and served as chief physician at the Bursa and Istanbul Ey\u00fcp Sultan Tuberculosis Dispensaries.<\/p><p>In 1935, he was elected as a member of parliament and served in the Turkish Grand National Assembly as the deputy for Konya during the 5th, 6th, and 7th terms between 1935 and 1946. He had intense disputes with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sahaney.com\/en\/hasan-ali-yucel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Minister of Education, Hasan Ali Y\u00fccel<\/a>, regarding the establishment of a Turkish Music Conservatory, but was ultimately unsuccessful.<\/p><p>In 1946, he worked as a physician at \u0130stanbul <a href=\"https:\/\/tr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/TEKEL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tekel<\/a>. He also served as an inspector for the Tuberculosis Control Association and conducted studies on the history of medicine.<\/p><p>He began music at a very young age, almost as a child. He took lessons (me\u015fk) from \u0130smail Efendi, a student of Dell\u00e2lz\u00e2de.
