He was the son of Ali Osman Efendi, the Chief of the Watchmen. After completing his secondary education at \u015eehzadeba\u015f\u0131 R\u00fc\u015ftiye and \u0130dadi, he graduated from Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He specialized in internal medicine. He served as a municipal doctor in Midilli (Lesbos) and Mu\u011fla, and worked as an internal medicine specialist at the \u0130zmir Public Hospital.<\/p><p>He served as a colonel doctor during the National Struggle and earned the admiration and appreciation of Atat\u00fcrk. He held the position of Director of Health in \u0130zmir for 17 years, up until the Greek occupation. Until 1922, he also served as Director of Public Health at the Ministry of Health.<\/p><p>He entered the Parliament as a 5th Term Member of Parliament representing Kastamonu. Afterwards, he continued his life working as a doctor.<\/p><p>He developed an interest in music at a young age and benefited from the teachings of renowned masters. He studied under Zek\u00e2i Dede, Zek\u00e2i Dede\u2019s son Ahmet Irsoy, Ender\u00fbni Ali Bey, and Santo \u015eik\u00e2ri from \u0130zmir. He formed close friendships with two of the leading composers of the time, Dr. Suphi Ezgi and lawyer H\u00fcseyin Sadettin Arel. He was also a ney player.<\/p><p>He passed away in July 1954 at the age of 80 and was buried in the Edirnekap\u0131 Martyrs' Cemetery. Upon his death, composer Dr. Cahid \u00d6ney composed the following chronogra:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e1ce959 elementor-widget elementor-widget-testimonial\" data-id=\"e1ce959\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"testimonial.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-testimonial-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-testimonial-content\">\u201cUpon his passing, I recited the date while recalling his song: <br>\n\n\u015eenozan was fire in the ney, with goblets kissed in melody\u2026\u2019\u201d<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4fa6d164 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4fa6d164\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dr. \u015e\u00fckr\u00fc \u015eenozan began composing at the age of 19. He completed his first song with the lyrics \u201cG\u00f6z\u00fcm hicrinle kan a\u011flar\u201d in 1893. Although he produced a limited number of valuable works, his s\u00fbzn\u00e2k song with the lyrics \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sahaney.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/suzinak-sarki-muptela-yi-derd-olan-diller-devadan-gectiler-sukru-senozan-ney-notasi.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Muptel\u00e2y\u0131 derd olan diller dev\u00e2dan ge\u00e7tiler<\/a>\u201d composed in the devrihindi rhythmic pattern, became very famous.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2458185 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2458185\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A significant portion of his works is included in the TRT repertoire.
